## The challenge
A financial services firm was managing shareholder records and compliance reporting across a patchwork of spreadsheets. Producing a single compliance report meant pulling figures from several files by hand, and it took a full working day.

There was no single source of truth. When records lived in different places, every report started with the same question: which version is right?
